With the blessings of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Sankaramatam is a voluntary based organization for the diffusion of Sanatana Dharma (“The Eternal Principles of Truth and Righteousness”), underlying Hindu faith. Sankaramatam is a home away from home, a place to be comfortable, engage and develop an awareness of our Hindu cultural and spiritual heritage.

Our Main Objectives

• Indulge in organizing community service events such as Conducting / Assisting in Boys and Girls Scout camps, Blood donation drives, Educational drives, Food drives and fund raising for Urban Ministries and people affected though Natural disasters, and other voluntary activities for the society.
• Promote Indian music, art, dance and culture in the community, facilities for Yoga, Meditation, and Cultural and Educational Activities, conduct youth clubs, and career development sessions
• Provide facilities to members of the Hindu community for celebration of festivals and other religious ceremonies.
• Create and develop a place of worship according to Agama Sastra’s, preserve and uphold the Ritualistic and Spiritual Values of Vedic Traditions as defined Vedas and Upanishads.
• Promote various Vedic, Spiritual, Religious, Ritualistic Programs as well as Cultural, Educational, and Outreach Programs, for the purpose of cultivating faith and devotion.
• Incorporating Vedic education and teaching Vedic values to children, young and old with strict adherence to ancient Vedic principles and developing humanity developing becoming better human beings, and develop leadership qualities.

Sankaramatam is committed to upholding Indian Dharmika values and traditions. All sections of our society are part of this effort, not just the erudite, as all humanity can benefit from our efforts to build a better society.
